INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 tbsp margarine or butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 can Whole Berry Cranbery Sauce drained -save liquid
  • 1 egg
  • grated rind from one orange
  • juice from one orange

STEP BY STEP:

  1. Cream butter, sugar, egg & rind. Stir in juice & cranberry liquid
  2. Stir in, all at once, remaining ingredients until just blended. Pour into greased 9" x 5" x 3" loaf\bread pan
  3. Bake at 350 degrees F for one hour. Cool, and served.
