INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup oatmeal, uncooked
  • 1-3/4 cup quaker 100% natural cereal, crushed
  • 1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips, melted
  • 1/4 cup whipping cream
  • 21 ounces cherry pie filling

STEP BY STEP:

  1. Heat oven to 350 degree F. Grease 9" springform pan
  2. Combine first four ingredients
  3. Press onto bottom and sides of pan, bake 15 min then set aside
  4. Beat cream cheese, granulated sugar and vanilla at med speed of electric mixer until fluffy
  5. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each
  6. Stir in chocolate and cream
  7. Pour into crust
  8. Bake 1 hour or until center is almost set
  9. Cool completely remove rim. Spread pie filling over top.

TIPS:

Serve with whipped cream, if desired.
