INGREDIENTS:
- 2 pkg (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup cooked or canned pumpkin
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- dash each cloves and nutmeg
- 2 eggs
- 1 graham cracker crust
- 1/3 cup mini- semi-sweet chocolate chips
STEP BY STEP:
- Sprinkle some of the chocolate morsels on the bottom of the pie crust (wide coverage, but not too many). Melt the rest in microwave.
- Mix cream cheese, pumpkin, sugar, vanilla and spices until well blended. Add eggs and mix well.
- Remove 1/3 cup of mixture and mix with melted chocolate. Pour rest
of cheese mixture into crust. Spoon chocolate mixture on top and swirl with
a table knife or spoon. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until center
is almost set.
- Refrigerate 3 hours or overnight. Garnish with whipped cream and
chopped pecans OR chocolate shavings.
