INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 cup flour
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup lard
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup whole milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 3 whole eggs
  • 3 egg yolks

STEP BY STEP:

  1. Sift dry ingredients together, cut crisco into flour mixture. Make sure that the mixture should be crumbly
  2. Make a well in the flour mixture and add the eggs, vanilla and milk
  3. Mix by hand mixture will be sticky, put a little flour in your hands and roll into balls or open figure eight twists
  4. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Frost with a simple white frosting while frosting is wet dip cookin in chopped walnuts or cocoanut
