INGREDIENTS:
- 1/4 tsp cayenne
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ghee
- 1 tsp cumin seed
- 1 pint yoghurt
- 2 cardamom pods (seeds)
- 2 ripe bananas, peeled and mashed to a pulp
STEP BY STEP:
- Place the yoghurt in a mixing bowl, and whip lightly. Fry the cumin seed and cardamom in the ghee.
- As soon as they are getting along nicely, add the salt and cayenne.
- Quickly add the bananas and throw the yoghurt into the pot also. Stir all vigorously and quickly. Taste.
- Then decide whether to serve hot or cold. Hot? Continue to stir and cook until heated through. Cold? Remove at once and chill.
