INGREDIENTS:
- 6 tart apples
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- butter, cinnamon and nutmeg
Topping:
- 1/3 cup butter
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup flour
STEP BY STEP:
- Peel, slice, and put apples into large pie crust. Sprinkle lemon juice and sugar over apples. Add water Dot with butter and cinnamon.
- Topping: Cream butter and brown sugar add flour, mix well into crumbs sprinkle over top of apples bake 375F for about 45 minutes. make sure apple juice bubbles through middle of pie, this shows it is done. Enjoy!!
