Brown Rice Pudding

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/2 cup uncooked regular or quick-cooking brown rice
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 3 tbsp margarine
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup raisins, optional
  • cream
  • honey or brown sugar

STEP BY STEP:

  1. Cook rice as directed. Stir in 3 tbsp honey, the margarine, cinnamon, milk, and raisins
  2. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, until of desired consistency, 10 to 15 minutes
  3. Serve warm with cream and honey.
