INGREDIENTS:

  • 2-3 inch fresh ginger, sliced
  • 1 cup juice of 3 lemons
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 quarts water

STEP BY STEP:

  1. Place water on the stove to boil
  2. Peel a good 2-3 inch slice of ginger Grate the ginger over a fine mesh grater
  3. Squeeze the freshly grated pulp to remove the juice
  4. Discard dry pulp. When water boils, add the lemon and ginger juice. Let steep for 20 minutes, then add the honey.

TIPS:

If you like stronger taste, put some extra ginger slices.
