INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup dried cherries
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cup water
- 1 1/4 tsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp cold water
- 3 tbsp brandy
STEP BY STEP:
- In a saucepan combine the cherries, the sugar and 1 1/2 cups water and simmer the mixture for 10 minutes or until the liquid is reduced to 1 cup
- Mix the cornstarch with 1 tablespoon of water and add it to the cherry mixture, and simmer the mixture, stirring, for 2 minutes
- Add the brandy and stir it in.
