INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 3 ounces bittersweet chocolate, chopped
  • 3 ounces unsweetened chocolate, chopped
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

STEP BY STEP:

  1. In a small saucepan combine the cream and the brown sugar. Bring the mixture to a boil over moderately high heat, whisking occasionally until the brown sugar is dissolved
  2. Remove the pan from the heat and add the chocolates, and whisk until they are melted
  3. Whisk in the butter and the cinnamon, whisking until the sauce is smooth.
