INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 small green bell pepper cut into 1/2" strips
  • 1 small red bell pepper cut into 1/2" strips
  • 1 small onion cut into thin strips, julienne
  • 1 stalk celery cut into thin strips, julienne
  • 8 oz beef cut into strips
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp minced ginger
  • 1/4 cup Dashi or chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp shoyu
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 cup soft noodles or rice
  • 1 tbsp salad oil
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch in 1 tbsp water
  • pinch salt & pepper

STEP BY STEP:

  1. Heat oil in wok until just smoking
  2. Add beef, onions, celery. Cook about 1 minute
  3. Add bell peppers, garlic, ginger, salt, pepper, dashi, shoyu, oyster sauce and cook about 3 minutes or more, being careful not to overcook the meat
  4. Last add cornstarch mixture to thicken. Pour over noodles or rice.
