Sweet And Sour Meatballs

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/2 pkg ready to cook homestyle meatball
  • 1 medium carrot, cut into strips
  • 1 small onion, cut into strips
  • 1 tbs ginger, minced
  • 1 tbs garlic, minced
  • 1 pkg equal or 2 tsp of sugar
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/3 cup vinegar
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp dried chili pepper, chopped into small pieces
  • Non-stick cooking oil spray
  • Salt to taste

STEP BY STEP:

  1. Prepare meatballs as on it direction
  2. In a small mixing bowl, mix Equal, ketchup, vinegar, water and cornstarch
  3. In wok, spray non-stick cooking oil spray. Bring to high heat
  4. Add ginger and garlic, stir fry
  5. Add onion and carrot, stir 4 or 5 times
  6. Season with salt
  7. Add meatballs, sauce mixture and chili pepper, stir fry for one to two minutes
  8. Serve hot with steam rice.
