INGREDIENTS:
- 100 gram carrots
- 100 gram green beans
- 4 ea scallions
- 100 gram white cabbage
- 2 ea toes of garlic
- 1/4 ea cucumber
- 1 tbsp oil
- 150 ml vinegar
- 100 gram bean sprouts/shoots
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp powdered ginger
- 1 tsp kunjit/kurkuma
- 1 tsp sambal ulek
- salt
STEP BY STEP:
- Cut carrot, beans, and cabbage into the size of matches, and cucumber in small cubes
- In a pan with a little water and salt, boil the vegetables for 5 minutes.
- Drain. Peel scallions and garlic, make a paste using a mortar or blender, set aside
- Mix with sambal, kunjit and ginger
- Heat oil in a frying pan. Fry the herb-mixture for 2 minutes
- Add vinegar and sugar, stir to dissolve sugar
- Add all vegetables, add some water if there is a little water
- Boil softly for 2 minutes. Put in a bowl and let cool.
TIPS:
Sterilized on a lid jar with the liquid as well. Can be kept for at least a year in a dark/cool place
