INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/2 lb shrimps, peel
  • 1/2 fresh shredded coconut
  • 1 piece bay leaf

    Spices:

  • 4 shallots
  • 3 clove garlic
  • 2 red chillies
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1 inch galangal
  • 1 inch kunyit (curcumae domestica val.)
  • salt and sugar to taste
  • banana leaves for wrap

STEP BY STEP:

  1. Blend all spices ingridients into a mortar or an electric blender. Set aside
  2. Mix all shrimps, coconut, and spices above, stir thoroughly
  3. Take one piece of banana leaf, put the dough as well as 1 pieces of salam leaf
  4. Steam for 15 minutes or more. Serve with steam rice.
