Ahi Cake With Wasabi Aioli

INGREDIENTS:

  • 8 oz Ahi, cut into small cubes
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp green onions, chopped
  • 1 tbsp shoyu
  • 1 tbsp ogo, chopped
  • 1 tsp sesame seed oil
  • 2 tbsp panko
  • 1 tbsp dill, chopped
  • 2 tbsp flour for dipping
  • 1 cup mixed salad greens
  • 1/2 cup wasabi aioli
  • 2 tbsp salad oil
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsps wasabi ailoi
  • pinch salt and pepper

STEP BY STEP:

  1. Whisk all ingredients together
  2. Mix Ahi, mayonnaise, green onions, ogo, shoyu, sesame oil, panko and dill
  3. Form small cakes. Dust with flour
  4. Heat salad oil in pan and cook cakes about 2 minutes on each side, until golden brown
  5. Place atop salad and spoon wasabi ailoi on top.
