INGREDIENTS:
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp salt
- 8 fresh Alaskan crab sticks
- 4 strips daikon 4x1/2"
- 16 long chives, stemmed
- 1/4 punnet mustard cress
- 1 3/4 oz light mayonnaise
- 1/3 oz wasabi
- ice water, for chilling
STEP BY STEP:
- Boil a pot of water then add sake, and salt. Put in the sticks of crabmeat
- Boil about 30-45 minutes, remove crab from heat and place in iced water.
- Mix well wasabi and mayonnaise
- Cut each crab stick in half. Tie 2 crab sticks together with 4 pieces chives
- Serve with wasabi mayonnaise, daikon strips, and mustard cress.
TIPS:
Crabmeat can be substituted with lobster.
