INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 tbsp sake
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 8 fresh Alaskan crab sticks
  • 4 strips daikon 4x1/2"
  • 16 long chives, stemmed
  • 1/4 punnet mustard cress
  • 1 3/4 oz light mayonnaise
  • 1/3 oz wasabi
  • ice water, for chilling

STEP BY STEP:

  1. Boil a pot of water then add sake, and salt. Put in the sticks of crabmeat
  2. Boil about 30-45 minutes, remove crab from heat and place in iced water.
  3. Mix well wasabi and mayonnaise
  4. Cut each crab stick in half. Tie 2 crab sticks together with 4 pieces chives
  5. Serve with wasabi mayonnaise, daikon strips, and mustard cress.

TIPS:

Crabmeat can be substituted with lobster.
