INGREDIENTS:
- 2 cup rice
- 6 nos chestnut
- 3 1/2 cup water
- salt to taste
STEP BY STEP:
- Wash the rice in cold water, drain and keep aside
- Peel the chestnuts and cut them into halves
- Boil the rice, chestnuts, salt and water in a vessel over a low heat for about 15 mins
- Keep stirring at regular intervals to keep the rice from sticking at the base
- Once the rice and chestnuts become soft remove and serve hot.
