INGREDIENTS:
- 12 oz tofu
- 4 oz canned whole mushrooms, drained
- 1/2 cup green peas, cooked
- 1 green onion, chopped
- 1 tbsp ginger root,sliced
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp white wine
- 1/4 cup vegetable broth
- 1 tbsp cornstarch, dissolved in 1/4 cup water
- 2 tbsp oil
- Dash of pepper
STEP BY STEP:
- Cut tofu into 1 inch cubes, Pour hot water over tofu; drain
- Stir fry gingerroot and green onion for 1 minute
- Add vegetable broth, oyster sauce, tofu and mushrooms, then heat until hot
- Add peas, soy sauce, wine, and dash of pepper
- Pour cornstarch mixture over tofu and stir and cook until thickened
