INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 lb large shrimp, shell-on, split down the back, and deveined
  • juice of 2 lemons
  • tabasco sauce to taste
  • salt to taste
  • freshly ground black pepper, to taste

STEP BY STEP:

  1. Heat oil in a large saute pan, add shrimp and toss and cook for 3 minutes
  2. Add cream and lemon juice. Splash on as much Tabasco as you can handle
  3. Allow to reduce on high for 5 minutes; watch carefully, it could overflow
  4. Add butter and parsley. Season with salt and pepper. Serve it up.
