INGREDIENTS:

  • 3-4 cups cooked rice or rice pilaf
  • 1/2 lb sliced shitake mushrooms
  • 6 tbsp margarine
  • 4 tbsp flour
  • 3 tbsp dry sherry
  • 2 cups cream
  • 2 cups diced cooked turkey
  • 2 cups oysters, drained, sliced in 1/2 inch pieces
  • salt, white pepper to taste
  • dash soy sauce

STEP BY STEP:

  1. Melt the butter in the chafing disk. Add the mushrooms, cook for 5 minutes, stir
  2. Add in flour and cook 2-3 more minutes. Slowly put in the cream and cook until smooth
  3. Add the turkey, oysters, sherry, salt, soy sauce. Heat 90 seconds more. Serve over a bed of rice or rice pilaf.
