INGREDIENTS:
- 6-8 pita breads
- 1/2 large cucumber
- 3 cups cold turkey pieces, cubed
- 1 large beefsteak tomato chopped
- 1 stalk of celery chopped
- 1 onion, diced
- dash of salt
- dash of pepper
- chopped or dried parsley to taste
- oil and vinegar to taste, or commercial Italian dressing
STEP BY STEP:
- Combine in a mixing bowl cold turkey pieces, cucumber, onions, salt, pepper, tomato cubes and oil and vinegar.
- Add chopped celery to taste. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Heat pita breads, slice top open 2/3 of the way. Spoon mixture into pita breads.
