INGREDIENTS:

  • 6-8 pita breads
  • 1/2 large cucumber
  • 3 cups cold turkey pieces, cubed
  • 1 large beefsteak tomato chopped
  • 1 stalk of celery chopped
  • 1 onion, diced
  • dash of salt
  • dash of pepper
  • chopped or dried parsley to taste
  • oil and vinegar to taste, or commercial Italian dressing

STEP BY STEP:

  1. Combine in a mixing bowl cold turkey pieces, cucumber, onions, salt, pepper, tomato cubes and oil and vinegar.
  2. Add chopped celery to taste. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Heat pita breads, slice top open 2/3 of the way. Spoon mixture into pita breads.
