INGREDIENTS:
- 24 - 3" sweet tart shells
- 1 lemon, juice and zest
- 5 ml ground nutmeg
- 20 ml Brandy
- 125 ml cottage cheese
- 115 gr butter, soft
- 100 gr granulated white sugar
- 90 gr Saskatoon berries
- 80 gr wild rice, cooked
STEP BY STEP:
- Place prepared tart shells on a baking sheet.
- Preheat oven to 365°F.
- Using a food processor, blend cottage cheese with butter until well-mixed.
- Add sugar, lemon juice and zest, wild rice, nutmeg and brandy. Mix thoroughly.
- Stir in Saskatoon berries. Spoon batter into tart shells.
- Bake until golden brown, approximately 10-12minutes.
