INGREDIENTS:
- 2 lbs fresh asparagus
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup slivered almonds
- 1/2 tsp salt
STEP BY STEP:
- Steam asparagus and drain. Melt butter in skillet.
- Cook almonds over low heat, stirring constantly until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat. Add salt and lemon juice; pour over hot asparagus.
