INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 lbs fresh asparagus
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup slivered almonds
  • 1/2 tsp salt

STEP BY STEP:

  1. Steam asparagus and drain. Melt butter in skillet.
  2. Cook almonds over low heat, stirring constantly until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat. Add salt and lemon juice; pour over hot asparagus.
